White and black spots appearing

When I do a cut operation from the context menu on a scanned surface imported via wrmv I get strange white and black spots along the edge. See the attached screen shots. Is it a bug? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It was fixed in updates 3.2.4061, 4.3.4062 and 4.4.4063. A fix for v5.0 is coming in about a week's time
