Hi
Is Windows Vista supported in version 5? I am having problems running the samples. They do not start at all. On my windows 7 laptop they seems to work OK

Yes Vista is OK. It sounds like your problem is an old graphic card. To check for that in Start menu search for "Run" window. Launch it and in the box type dxdiag. This will launch DirectX Diagnostic Tool. On the Display page the "Direct3D Acceleration" must be “Enabled”. Without this the software will not run. Try v4.4 instead
