I am looking at this software. It looks like it has most of what we need, but I could not find one feature: We need to be able to select the single faces of a solid imported from STEP or IGES and apply a color coded in RGB.

Is there a way to do this?

We have implemented per face color in v7.0. It should be out later this year. It is persistable via .mdg. Step persistence needs a bit more work which we have left for little later. Get in touch if it is urgent.
