Hello
I am using version 3.1. I have encountered a .wrl file which has texture inside, but it does not show up in the loaded model. It works if I convert the image file from .psd to .bmp in Photoshop and change the name in ImageTexture node appropriately. I also know that .jpeg format works without this.
So the question is what are the supported formats? Any suggestions for automation of the procedure?

In v3.1 and earlier the supported formats are: JPEG, GIF, BMP, and PNG
In v4.1 and 3.2 starting from update 3548 the list also includes:
ICO, JNG, KOALA, LBM, IFF, MNG, PBM, PBMRAW, PCD, PCX, PGM, PGMRAW, PPM, PPMRAW, RAS, TARGA, TIFF, WBMP, PSD, CUT, XBM, XPM, DDS, HDR, FAXG3, SGI, EXR, J2K, JP2, PFM, PICT, RAW
