KernelCAD Models. Overview
KernelCAD models
A Kernel CAD model is a collection of objects (sections) and non geometrical
scene items (labels) currently displayed in a KernelCAD window. Models serve as
a "document" in KernelCAD software.
Models can be saved and opened as a .glm file, which is called a Model File.
.glm is the internal binary format of KernelCAD software. It is the format in
which the software "thinks" and exchanges information between components and
application of the suite.
The supported exchange formats allow model exchange between KernelCAD and
third party CAD systems.
