3D Debugger Editors

The window of the 3D Debugger has four or three panes depending on whether the current object is  a Generic 3D object or a Surface Of Revolution.

3d View - top left pane

Form view - top right pane

Profile View - Bottom left pane

Cross-section View - Bottom right pane.

DI Editors can have two modes: View and Modify. To switch between them use Views>3D menu or radio buttons in the Form view or commands form the context menu available on right mouse button click. Profile View is not displayed for Surface of Revolution objects. Profile and Cross-section views are 2D editors. Editors are organized in hierarchical fashion:

An arrow in the picture mean that the object selected in an editor will be displayed in the editor the exiting arrow points to. To view an object in Cross View a object has to be made current (selected) in 3D View. To view an object in the Profile View a point or a segment has to be selected in the Cross View. The Current Object Page displays properties for the object which was selected last in either of 2D editors.

The Views submenu shows commands related to the respective view. Commands from the Cross-section and Profile submenus are also available in the context menus (right click in the correspondent pane).

The Views > "Reset All" menu command can be used to reset scope of all views. This is useful when the model or its part is out of scope due a big change in its position or size by a different editor.
