Geometric Curves
Geometric Curves in KernelCAD software are
Mathematical Objects,
which represent basic common properties of any curve. Geometric curves are not
sections, which means they are not part of any KernelCAD model by itself and
lack many of the relevant properties like parent or children, but they can be
wrapped in a LineSection. See belowe
Geometric curves are used to define geometry of other more complex objects or
for geometric calculations.
Geometric curves have a Boolean property Closed, which is true
when the line is a closed loop (has no ends)
Geometric curves implement ICurve
interface.
Wrapping Mathematical Curves
To aad a geometric curve to the model wrap the curve into a
LineSection:
