Cloud Sample

Cloud application demonstrates generation of meshed surfaces from point sets, loading and conversion of point sets and calculation of Minimal Oriented Bounding Box of an entity

The application

On start the application loads point set stored in the Models\Samples\Cloud.xyz and displays it as a Point Set section. On click of the Create Surface button the application calculates the meshed surface and displays it as a Mesh Entity

When Use Defaults check box is off, the dialog displays parameters used for calculation of the meshed surface. The most important one is on the top. Try changing its value slowly and pressing Create Surface repeatedly to see its effect. When this value is increased the surface will have fewer holes, but some small features will be smoothed out. The other two parameters often have no visible effect.
